Workshops

We will have workshops including Tai chi, unicycling, juggling, hat manipulation and more...

Tai chi

As last year's workshop was so popular Clear Sky Tai Chi returns for another year for morning sessions. The founder and Chief instrutor of the school Simon Robins will be running the sessions. Simon has been studying internal development for 20 years in this time he has included Yoga, Akido, Judo, Hsing I and meditation.

With Simons understanding of movement and physiology his workshop will be a benefit to anyone who is interested in movement and manipulation skills. The cross pollenation from martial arts to circus skills is extremely beneficial.

Hat manipulation

Dan The Hat is back for a second year. Again the national hat juggling hero is going to be leading a fun filled infomative workshop from beginners to advanced hat manipulation tricks.

"Last year's workshops were so popular my own hat was 'borrowed off my head'."
Will Pulleine

From 1 - 3 hat tricks there will be a hat shortage on site so please bring your own if you can to avoid disappointment.

Unicycling

New for this year a unicycling workshop. This workshop will be dealing mainly with the first "steps" to becoming able to ride the amazing transport that has spawned a whole new extreme sport Municycling. At the end of this workshop you will be well on your way to being a one-wheeled wonder!

Spinning

Again we will have workshops in the spinning manipulation arts with single, double and contact staff moves along with Poi from beginner to advanced. We're sure there will be something for everyone.

Healing space

New for this year we have a healing space. A tent space for massueses of all types to ease those tired muscles from all that spinning, juggling etc... This space will double as a story/poetry area when the night draws in with a local writer Andy Kaminski organizing the evenings. It is sure to be a favourite place to relax with a hot mug of Chai.
