Travelling To/From The Firegathering
The Firegathering Festival is located on a beautiful farm site on the Sussex-Surrey border. A full run down of travel options will be given out with the tickets but for an idea on what's available see below.
By Car:
Onsite parking is available for those travelling by car. The site is easily accessible, a fairly short distance from the M23. Please note that if you only have 2 or less people in your car you will receive a "green tax" of £5 on entering the site. This is in place to encourage lift sharing, make people think more about using their car and to raise a few quid to be invested in green equipment.
Lift Sharing:
We aim to promote lift sharing as it makes great sense on a number of levels. Please use our forum to advertise or request a lift to/from the festival.
Train:
The two nearest train stations are Ockley (approx. 2 miles away) and Dorking (approx. 8 miles away). You can use our discussion forum to arrange with other festival goers to share a taxi for the rest of the journey. Please see National Rail for further information on train running times. New for this year is a free shuttle minibus that we'll be providing at certain times:
FRIDAY: 5:30pm - 8:30pm shuttle from Ockley station to festival site. From 8:30pm there will be 3 journeys to Three Bridges station.
SUNDAY: Starting at 1pm the shuttle bus will travel to Three Bridges station at hourly intervals throughout the afternoon.
Please note that you can stay onsite until 10am Monday morning.
