Here are some of the top questions about The Firegathering:
- When is it happening?
As always, the third weekend in May - 18th, 19th & 20th May 2007.
- Where is it being held?
On a lovely farm site near Horsham on the Sussex-Surrey border. See here .
- How much does it cost?
A meager £40 per person for the whole weekend! See here .
- Where does my ticket money go?
It goes straight into providing you with a weekend of top quality entertainment and activities, we (the organisers) don't take a penny in profit.
- Why do you do it for no financial reward?
Good question... probably because we're a bit mad. But fundamentally we like to throw a party, we're not in it for the cash. We also like providing a stage for some really talented artists whom we respect and admire.
- Can I bring the kids?
Yes. But please buy the appropriate ticket for them. 5's and under go free, but please notify us in advance.
- I'm in a band and would like to play at The Firegathering
We're pretty full for this year's festival, but send us an email anyway. It's good to keep a log of some good upcoming bands and ya never know, we might get a drop-out?
- Can I get a day ticket?
No, sorry we "don't do day tickets".
- I'm turning up with children, is there a quiet area to camp?
There are some very limited family camping spots. These are allocated on a "first come, first served" basis and you will need to speak to one of the organisers onsite to gain access to this area.
- Why should I bother coming to The Firegathering?
Why!?! Where else are you going to get so much great talent on offer in a field for the weekend at these prices!? We've put stacks of effort into throwing a really great 3-day party, all we ask of you is to contribute to the costs and turn up with a smile on your face. We guarantee you'll leave with it intact! (your smile that is)
