About The Firegathering

Conceived in 2004 from humble beginnings The Firegathering took shape through the combined energy of five individuals.  From the outset it was to be a collaborative effort whilst reflecting our individual personalities.  The aim being to create an event with a character all of it's own, a celebration performing arts, friendship and personal development.

Originally based in Suffolk the first Firegathering went down very well. Positively encouraged from this the event has seen organic growth over the years and an increasing band of merry followers.  As each year goes by we make modifications, drawing on our combined experiences from festivals, conventions, concerts and... life. We pool experiences and ideas to forge one weekend in the year that we're happy to put our name to. We want people to come along with us to make friends, perform, dance, be enlightened and above all have fun. 

Luckily we (Morgan, Russell, Spam, Will, Yann) know how to work well together as it's what we do 5 days a week.  In our day to day life we run a company called Firetoys.com .  Contrary to popular belief The Firegathering is not a commercial venture of the aforementioned company. For we five it is purely a labour of love, run as a not-for-profit event.  We put in months of hard work to make it happen without getting paid.  Our reward comes in the form of seeing the event take shape and most importantly; seeing people having a great time. Rest assured that when you buy a ticket to The Firegathering, all your money is going into making it happen.
